We achieve this by combining scientific knowledge with thousands of years of traditional health practices. AFPI is well known for Mast Chew; a plant based, organic and sugar-free chewing gum. Our gum base is neither synthetic (petroleum) nor latex (chicle), rather it is extracted from Pistacia trees. Pistacia resin exhibits naturally occurring antimicrobial activity and has been used for thousands of years throughout the Mediterranean to maintain gut health and treat stomach related illnesses. The combination of xylitol, mint and antimicrobial gum base in Mast Chew cleanses the mouth and soothes the stomach. ​Our professional staff are a committed team of Australian scientists who have contributed to the establishment of a number of laboratories and manufacturing companies. They have also been teaching and conducting research in renowned universities worldwide. Our CEO was the founder of Van Natural Chewing Gum, the first natural chewing gum which was produced for the first time three decades ago.
