Tagine -Moroccan Recipe Base

Tagine is possibly the most favourite Moroccan recipe. If you have a Tajin dish, then this tagine recipe base is the easiest way of using your beautiful dish. But if you don’t have one, or your tajin dish is too far back in the cabinet, you will get the same authentic flavours from your humble everyday cooking pot by adding this tagine sauce to your favourite meat and veggies.

Made with the signature moroccan spice Ras-El-Hanout, Exotic Bazaar’s Tagine base is fragrant with a hint of chili.

This cooking sauce has no fillers and no cooking oil. It is Gluten Free, Keto Friendly, Vegan/ Vegetarian Friendly. Add it to your everyday cooking or go classic and show off your world cuisine.

Tagine in four easy steps:

1- Dice and fry 2x carrots, 1xpotato, 2x zucchini, and 1x eggplant. (Or your choice of veggies/meat for 4 people)

2- Drain and add one large can of cooked chickpeas.

3- Add this Tagine plus half a jar of stock/water or coconut milk.

4- Simmer for 15 minutes or until your ingredients are cooked.

Top with a few half cut olives and serve on couscous with a side of salad.

This Tagine sauce is perfect for hearty veggies like capsicum, mushrooms, zucchini, eggplants, and legumes such as chickpeas, lentil, or dhal.
